KARACHI: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday has asked Baloch leaders to end their exile and return to the country.
Speaking to media after meeting Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Atta ullah Mengal in Karachi, he said the government will take practical steps to remove grievances of people of the province.
Gilani said meeting with the veteran leader was due and that both discussed issues related to Balochistan.
He said that Sardar Mengal is right when he say that practical steps needs to be taken by the federal government regarding missing persons and for clearing the deprivation of the Baloch people.
Gilani said he has instructed the commission set up for the implementation of constitutional reforms to meet Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
He said the government does not believe in victimisation and called upon all Baloch leaders to return to Pakistan so that issues related to the province could be resolved through talks.
Meanwhile, Sardar Mengal thanked PM Gilani for the visit. — DawnNews
