QUETTA: At least three bullet riddled bodies, including one that of a teacher, were found in Kalat and Keach districts of Balochistan, on Friday.
Two bullet riddled bodies were found in Jhwan area of Kalat district, some 150 kilometers away from provincial capital.
The Assistant Commissioner (AC) Kalat Sultan Bugti talking to Balochistan Express has said that some passersby spotted the bodies and informed the Balochistan Levies force. The Balochistan Levies personnel and local administration rushed to the spot soon after the information and shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital Kalat for identification. One of the bodies was identified as that of Khaliq Dad, resident of Karachi and the identity of the other was not made until the report was filed.
“We recovered an NIC from one of the bodies which made it possible to identify it by the name of Khaliqdad, a resident of Karachi and the other could not be identified,” Sultan Bugti said and added that we recovered two slips from their bodies wherein Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and United Baloch Army (UBA) claimed the responsibility of the killing. “One of them was killed by bullets and other was tortured to death,” he said.
Assistant Commissioner Sultan Bugti said that the bodies are in their custody of the district administration and only after whereabouts of the relatives, they will registered the cases in their behalf.
Separately, another bullet riddled body of a teacher was found in Pedarak area of Keach district on Friday.
Sources in Balochistan Levies told that some people spotted the body and informed the Balochistan Levies. The local administration rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. Body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Turabt for Identification. Body was identified as that of Master Maqbool resident of Pedarak.
The cause of the killing could not be ascertained as yet.
