Depriving sick political prisoners of medical treatment, a means of torturing them before execution

The health of Shahram Ahmadi and Arash Sharifi, two political prisoners awaiting execution in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison has deteriorated. Shahram who previously had lost one of his kidneys is suffering from infection of his other kidney. But the regime does not allow him to receive medical attention. His brother was hanged in Qezel-Hesar prison last year.

Arash Sharifi has nearly lost his left eye and his right eye is in critical condition.
