(01-01-2014) was day 20 of #VBMPLongMarch from Karachi and day 45 from Quetta to Islamabad.
The Baloch march started from Dolatpur area of Sindh and reached to the city of Moro this evening. They will spend the night in Moro and resume their journey tomorrow morning.
The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organisation comprising of family members of enforced-disappeared and murdered Baloch activists has started the first phase of this march from Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan on 27 October last year.
The second phase of Baloch March started on 13 December 2013 from Karachi Press club headed by Qadeer Baloch, vice chairman of VBMP and father of murdered Baloch activist Mr Jaleel Reki Baloch.
There are also several other family members of abducted Baloch including Farzana Baloch, sister of abducted Baloch student Zakir Majeed Baloch – Sammi Baloch, 15, daughter of Dr Deen Mohammad Baloch and 10 year old Ali Haider Baloch son of abducted Mohammad Ramzan Baloch.
Hundreds of Sindhi and Baloch activists and Sindhi nationalist parties welcomed and joined the march at different places. The supporters included large numbers of women and children.
The Sindhi national parties that received the march at the city of Moro included JSMM Shafi Burfat group, JSQM Bashir Qureshi, PPP Shaheed Bhutto, Sindh United Party, Awami Worker Party and others.
Apart from nationalist parties the people of Sindh including Baloch residents have greatly supported the march throughout past 20 days.
The determined and resolute Baloch marchers are adamant to continue their journey to the UN headquarters in Islamabad.
They will decide their next step after they reach to Islamabad.
Qadeer Baloch, Farzana Baloch and other participants of march thanked the people of Sindh and Sindhi nationalists parties for their tremendous support and encouragement.
